stayed at a beautiful and spacious property in Whitby, just 5 mins from the beach and town. Everything was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Loved the added extras like the DVDs and cozy lounge area. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Whitby!

My recent stay at Austen House was fantastic. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center of town and the beach. The hotel was clean and spacious, with all the amenities you could need. The beds were comfortable, and the towels were soft and luxurious. Communication with the hosts was quick and helpful. I had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Whitby. As for drawbacks, the limited set of keys and the lack of glasses in the bedrooms were minor inconveniences. these are just suggestions for improvement, and they did not detract from the overall positive experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy, with plenty of space to relax. The hotel facilities were great, with DVDs provided for entertainment, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We also loved the perfect location of the hotel, within walking distance of the city center but still peaceful and quiet. The staff was excellent, with quick responses to any questions or queries we had. a wonderful experience.

I keep coming back to this place because it has everything I need. The staff even recommended a taxi for me once. Wi-Fi, TV, pets allowed, and a beautiful outdoor dining area. Perfect for my trip.

Great location for outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. Found towels in the holiday home, thank goodness! I mean, who wants to bring their own towels?

The location of this place was absolutely perfect, close enough to the town center to walk but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Perfect location, within walking distance of the center of town - but far enough away to not be disturbed. Spotlessly clean and everything you needed to stay for one night or 3 weeks. the beds were sooooo comfortable and the towels were soft and still looked brand new. All the furniture was high quality and the added extras like the dishwasher, TVs in all the bedrooms, sound system just made it even better.

Parking wasn't easy and someone hit my car, whilst it was parked. you have to pay a £250 deposit, which they hang on to for a month, which doesn't seem fair.

The property was in a great location, just a quick walk from the beach and town. It was also very clean and had all the necessary equipment in the kitchen. The beds and lounge area were comfortable, providing a cozy place to relax during the Christmas holiday.

One major issue was the limited availability of keys. With a group of 8 people, it was inconvenient to have only one set of keys.
